Why Apple’s iOS 15 will scan iPhone photos and messages
- underseacables 5y ago..and messages?!
- krapp 5y agoActual title is "The controversy over Apple’s plan to protect kids by scanning your iPhone" Please use the original title or a derivative. This subject is enough of a hot-button issue here without adding fuel to an already incendiary fire with clickbait. The claim that Apple's iOS5 will also scan iPhone messages is not supported by the article.
- anupamchugh 5y agoSeems like the title I shared was updated by the author later -- as you'd see in the browser tab display title (btw, I'd just shared this via the HN bookmarklet which picks the original title at the time of writing. On a separate note, the current title isn't a clickbait by any means. iOS 15 will scan iMessage photos for children under 13.
