Thankfully cancer doesn't run in my family, but somehow (bad luck I guess) I have lost a shocking amount of young friends or acquaintances to cancer now (all 40 years or younger). All were very healthy too (none were smokers, heavy drinkers, etc...). I'm dreading hearing about more cases since Covid restrictions included delaying a lot of cancer screenings.
