How is that any better than just spreading the cheaks before sitting and resting the elbows on the knees? Serious question. I just think good toilet etiquette

How is that any better than just spreading the cheaks before sitting and resting the elbows on the knees? Serious question. I just think good toilet etiquette/hygiene is not being taught. For example, wipe any sweat and hairs off the seat before putting the lid down (or seat up if no lid) before flushing.
