Am surprise by the census data for Lake Tahoe and the 25% drop in salary that goes with it. Isn’t this a super wealthy area? This is going to hurt the Googlers who where going to trade their primary home for their secondary one.
- tomtheelder 5y agoTahoe is definitely not a super wealthy area for permanent residents. It's the same as a lot of tourism driven towns. Lots of middle class and lower middle class folks who work in the tourism industries (skiing, casinos, etc.).
