On paper all the members of congress has a team of aids that reads the bills and alerts them of parts they might find questionable or gives summaries. Whether that really even happens to thousand page bills stuffed with all kinds of random subjects is up in the air
- aeternum 5y agoThere should really be a length/complexity limit. Imagine what the bill of rights would look like if it were written today. Some room for compromise makes sense but it seems we've taken things way too far.
