One of the Ocean’s Biggest Threats Is Still Mostly a Mystery

  Incredible how the ocean remains unexplored in some ways. One thing that wasn't quite clear to me from the articles was exactly how invasive species are one of the biggest threats. I don't doubt it, and certainly I get how an invasive species can disrupt, damage or even destroy a local ecology, but the article doesn't really get into the nature or scope of damage being caused. I'll have look into the lionfish, as it sounds like that one at least is well documented.
