Politicians really like to use "child pornography" as a wedge issue for surveillance as it's a topic that people overwhelmingly see as "a bad thing". This screams slippery slope.
- Zenst 5y agoOh I think you will find that the "think of the children" model has been abused more than most emotional heart-string pulling for agenda.
- kahlonel 5y agoExactly. Just like “terrorism” is used as an excuse to take control of oil fields.
