When a product feature plateaus, the team starts inventing work from top down instead of bottom up; so as to keep themselves busy. The oblique objective is that, that the product becomes worse.
- kristopolous 5y agoSoftware can be done. I used to get constantly brigaded by people on HN for claiming there's a point of completion. I believe people in general have come around to this idea more lately. It's possible to get to a point of "no further improvement, only maintenance"
