I suspect centuries of colonialism and a literal fascist dictatorship didn't help.
- HenryKissinger 5y agoSouth Korea was a fascist dictatorship until the 1980s and is now a global economic powerhouse. China has been a literal dictatorship for decades and is now the world's largest economy. It's probably not the dictatorship.
- testrun 5y agoInteresting. Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, USA were all colonised. Now we can conclude it is not colonialism either.
