Rust wins Stackoverflow Developer Survey 2021

• avaldes 5y ago
Wins? I love rust but this is so weird. What does "win a survey" mean in the real world?

Should be titled "Survey: Rust is the most loved language" or better, "Stack Overflow Developer Survey 2021"

Title is too editorialized. Should be "Rust wins Stackoverflow Popularity Contest 2021".

Is there good data on which languages are actually used? I have noticed amongst students that Rust seems to be really popular amongst people in a meme-like fashion. Don't get me wrong, I do like Rust, but I think these surveys are pretty dull to me.
