In response to this, weed stores devised a trick where they buy up neighboring businesses and run them under the same brand name as the weed store, with very large signs. So next to "Bubba's weed store" with small signs, you have "Bubba's Car Wash" with very large signs. Anybody looking for Bubba's weed will see the huge sign for Bubba's car wash, and know they found the right spot.
