You might not believe this. But reading the symbols (if u know what they mean) is actually easier that reading words. For instance, | 3 2 1 0 is read as "reverse" the array "3 2 1 0". So | 3 2 1 0 gives you 0 1 2 3. It certainly seems easier to read than "reverse 3 2 1 0". – which assumes your a fluent english speaker.
