I didn't start in cs because I thought it was for geniuses. Then I realized a lot of non-geniuses were getting the good paying jobs, so I switched to cs just to realize that's what I actually enjoy learning about. So yeah, it looks like it's the new banking for overachievers but the lack of passion is easy to spot I'd say.
