Maybe I'm opening a can of worms here, but isn't Elon's Twitter an unreliable source of factual information when it comes to promises about the future capabilities of his companies?
- mcguire 5y agoDidn't the SEC have a chat with him about that?
- AtlasBarfed 5y agoThe SEC only had a chat with him because it has to maintain the facade that it does something. The mortgage crisis showed that the SEC is a toothless revolving door of rubberstampers. And still is.
- JoshTko 5y agoDepends on the figure type. A specific spec is usually reliable, AI timelines are very unreliable. Product launch dates are inconsistent. Shipment volumes have always been met, but are almost always delayed.
