Keeping in mind that I'm not writing code just for an interpreter or compiler to process, I'm writing it so that other people--including myself--can read it six months later after everybody has moved on to other things and still understand what it is doing. I just worked on some code where variables were named "poop", "crap", and "shit". How is anybody, including the original developer, supposed to know what values those variables hold?
