Personally, I do what I can and then just accept that I can't control the rest. I try to reduce, I try to re-use, I switched to vegetarian. I own a new house and I'm going to try to get solar, I have an electric lawn mower and I'm planning on my next car to be electric. I try to vote for people that I think will do the best job. I'm sure there is a lot more that I _could_ be doing, or attempting to be doing. But I am only a drop in the bucket. I just do the best I can.
