- TheRealKing 5y agoThe literal constants in this code are not in double precision and the results will not be accurate up to 64bit representation. Also, Fortran compiler optimizations can change the order of computations to generate the result faster. This does not invalidate the final outcome, but not necessarily yield the same result. Fortran has the most precise, exact, and portable method of literal constant specification among all programming languages.
