Well if you use a ton of tabs in Chrome, you can try Vertical Tabs. You would have to add the following to your Chrome shortcut: -enable-apps -enable-vertical-tabs Open Chrome, Right Click on a Tab and check on Use Side Tabs. It eats up a little of your screen real estate but I guess that should be okay as you have a 27" iMac. And you will be able to see the names of every tabs then !!!
