I recently worked on an integration with suomi.fi which is mentioned multiple times in this article. I even used the DVV published fork of passport-Saml. I have a few points: - that library is not supported as such. It was published under the DVV but that’s it. - my understanding is the SAML is legacy they are trying to move away from. This is critical gov infrastructure so I doubt they take it lightly and I would presume it’s been incredibly heavily pen-tested. - integration was time consuming and difficult to debug errors. Would not recommend.
