This is one other aspect of remote work people don’t discuss. I brought my CO2 detector to a friend’s office and I was shocked. 800ppm was where it started when we were having lunch. How you can be productive when you are breathing toxic air is beyond me.
- Johnny555 5y ago800ppm of CO2 is not toxic. 800ppm of CO is.
- breput 5y agoCO2 isn't toxic at CO levels and maybe not even performance impactful at 800 ppm, but there have been studies[1] that seem to indicate that even moderate levels of CO2 have measurable impacts. My personal experience is that CO2 levels above 1000 ppm are easily noticeable once you can correlate how you feel with a measurable value.
