This is a fantastic post and I really appreciate your rationale (having faced similar struggles). A limited but simplified set of Haskell libraries that offers similar ergonomic benefits to Elm is very appealing! It would be great if this became a community project. I'm not sure if the poster is from NoRedInk, but my only feedback is that I'd love to see some sample code that demonstrates the power of the handle pattern in use? It would be better tho if there was a concise sample.
