Same here. I know a couple of MDs who have chosen to wait for their vaccination. They are educated professionals who looked at their risk profile (retired, in states like Idaho and Montana, reasonably fit), and they decided that the risk wasn't worth it to them. They aren't blind MAGA hat owners. OTOH, I'm fat, asthmatic, over 40, and live in a pretty congested part of the world. My risk calculation is different than theirs. So, I got the shots as soon as I could. It is indeed sad we are so split on this issue.
