It is entirely possible that the child wasn't especially sick and could have been treated in Fiji, but paranoid billionaire parents didn't believe that Fijian medical care was good enough. The fact is we don't know and likely never well. I have no doubt though that billionaires are given privileges that are supposedly not for sale.
