Something I've been wondering is, assuming that the brain works at a couple dozen hertz frequency, how can we perform any sub-10ms task?
- chousuke 5y agoWouldn't the brain send the signals pre-emptively such that they trigger the action at the correct time, accounting for delays? I don't think it's possible to perform any conscious action that quickly, but if you've trained to perform some pattern, your brain would learn to compensate for any processing delays.
