The snippet looks made up. It requires a programmer skilled enough to understand iterators and compose them in a rather complex operation, but not skilled enough to know about shifts or look for “bitwise operators rust” on Google.
- Zababa 5y agoThat wouldn't be surprising, as you encounter iterators everywhere in Rust, but don't encounter bitwise operation unless you're working in a specific domain. What is surprising is to suddenly need the 42 first bits of a number.
