Huh.
- formerly_proven 5y agoMany languages have different symbols for the digits (1, 2, 3, ...).
- Sharlin 5y agoIn this case it may be unexpected because [0-9] are called "Arabic numerals" after all. But Western Arabic and Eastern Arabic numerals have diverged even though they share the same ancestry.
- ainar-g 5y agohttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Arabic_numerals https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Arabic_numerals, I assume.
- tpmx 5y agoYeah, can be seen e.g. here: https://www.egyptair.com/ar/contact-us/Pages/DomesticOffices.aspx https://www.egyptair.com/ar/contact-us/Pages/DomesticOffices...
- taejo 5y agoUnfortunately this redirects to the front page in English for me. I had to set the country to Egypt and language to Arabic before clicking your link again. (And for anyone looking for the numbers, you have to click on the items to see the phone numbers)
