Instead of firing Rust/Servo-People, the double down on finishing a technically superior browser would probably have done the same thing that Chrome did years ago: slick, lean, ultra fast -> technical folks would not only recommend it in their circles, but also install it on their parents/friends/... computer -> adoption wave. But what do I know, it seems that "adding features and modernizing the UI" wins everytime in upper management.
