- Gravityloss 5y agoThere's a metric, case fatality rate: https://ourworldindata.org/explorers/coronavirus-data-explorer?zoomToSelection=true&time=2020-09-28..latest&pickerSort=desc&pickerMetric=new_deaths_per_million&Metric=Case+fatality+rate&Interval=7-day+rolling+average&Relative+to+Population=true&Align+outbreaks=false&country=GBR~USA https://ourworldindata.org/explorers/coronavirus-data-explor... It's dropped from about 2% to 0.7%. Great. Still one dead per 140 cases. What about long Covid?
- readonthegoapp 5y agothese conservative sites just continue to pump out endless amounts of misleading trash. covid is worse now, in many ways, than it ever was before. "Florida’s COVID-19 hospitalizations are worse now than at 2020 peak" https://www.marketwatch.com/story/floridas-covid-19-hospitalizations-are-worse-now-than-at-2020-peak-01627849186 https://www.marketwatch.com/story/floridas-covid-19-hospital... i wish modern day US conservatism wasn't seemingly primarily about injuring and killing as many people as possible.
