I've had a somewhat similar experience with my first tech job. I'm glad someone took a chance on me even when I had no professional experience. Looking back now, however, getting screamed at in your face if you did something wrong is quite an awful experience. I hated it six months in, but luckily found another job after a few weeks. Thankfully, I now have a decent amount of experience to allow me to not tolerate that kind of behavior.
