- dreamdu5t 15y agoThey've got 100 million. That's enough to do amazing things. Honestly, for all the money Google has, Google+ isn't very impressive. Interestingly, about half of that 100 million comes from Google to secure their spot as the homepage and default search.
- pseudonimble 15y ago$100 million is nothing. People regularly win that much on the lottery. It's enough to do amazing things, but not enough to competitively do amazing things.
- sayhello 15y agoThat's assuming they want to make money. It seems to me their mandate is to make everyone's lives better. This looks like a project to define web standards for the future. It also looks like they've got enough to last them for a bit.
