Skinny Puppy (probably my favorite industrial band of all time), Front 242, Pig, and KMFDM for sure. Einstürzende Neubauten if you are looking for something more experimental. Other bands you may enjoy are Front Line Assembly, Nitzer Ebb, and Revolting Cocks. For more mainstream and accessible stuff there is Nine Inch Nails.
- Minor49er 5y agoI love Skinny Puppy, though they might distract me from work because I'd have to actively listen to them. Rather, I've been listening to cEvin Key's solo albums, particularly The Ghost of Each Room and The Dragon Experience. They really hit the right kind of atmosphere for me. If OP is looking for industrial rock/metal, then Fear Factory is classic (particularly Demanufacture). 3TEETH's <shutdown.exe> is pretty nice too. Skinny Puppy's Rabies would also be good since Al produced that and made sure it had loads of his classic Ministry sampled guitar sound. If you're a fan of Pig, check out Wiseblood's Dirtdish, which is a side project of Foetus. And if you're not familiar with Foetus, then do yourself a favor and listen to NAIL, LOVE, or FLOW very soon (which, while not metal, is still incredible work). If you're interested in more dark ambient type of industrial, then I'd suggest Lustmord's "Heresy", NON's "Children of the Black Sun", Coil's "The Remote Viewer", Darkrad's "Little Black World", or RU486's "My Head is Buzzing", to name a few.
