Can't confirm. Not at all. I interviewed during COVID, around summer 2020, and really preferred the adjusted interview process. I interviewed w/ Facebook, NVIDIA, TwoSigma, Citadel, Google, Apple, Cerebras, Rivian, and Amazon. I usually got feedback a week or two after the final interview. It's quiet common in this industry that hiring managers and headhunters "ghost" you instead of sending a message if they think you're not worth their time.
