- captn3m0 5y agoI tried to get in touch with Kiln/FogBugz/Glitch, but looks like the domain is still with Joel, who I've been unable to reach. I would love to get this re-instated to the original domain. Changes from the original: - Removed references to Kiln - Fixed external links - Removed Google Analytics and other tracking - Jekyll-ized for easier edits. This version is hosted on GitHub Pages. Source is at https://github.com/hginit/hginit.github.io https://github.com/hginit/hginit.github.io
- XCSme 5y agoI used Mercurial for versioning and locally backing up my projects, but in the end I ended up migrating everything to git. I did love some parts of Mercurial, but many times the repository went into a corrupted state from which it couldn't be saved (I couldn't add new commits, so I had to recreate the repo and lose all commit history). Overall it feels like nowadays Mercurial is no longer a good or safe choice.
