Most of the laissez-faire fundamentalists I'm in contact with have been fairly silent on this issue. I'd honestly be interested to hear someone rationalize how it would be a good thing if everyone had to rent everything from BlackRock for the rest of their lives.
- anthony_d 5y agoI'm certainly not going to argue that forcing everyone to rent would be good in any way. Sounds terrible. I just want to point out: there is nothing about this article indicating forced rent is likely to happen anytime in our or our children's life time, if ever. This article is just scare mongering in the same vein as those death panels of Obama.
