- op00to 5y agoThis happens in the city building game Cities Skylines if you zone and build huge residential zones all at once. All the people move in a short period of time, have kids, and finally die causing a massive death wave. Then, their kids cause an even bigger death wave. Eventually everyone gets sick and dies because the dead bodies hanging around make people even more sick. The solution is to zone and build more slowly, spreading out the population’s age over time.
