It doesn’t sound like it’s a common problem, from my cursory investigation

    I meant reliable sources, i.e. scientific papers. For every bonkers assertion you will find "evidence" by "just googling it". I would be careful not to get trapped in confirmation bias in this way.

      There's a wealth of information out there, even scientific papers. Additionally there are thousands of anecdotal reports on vegan forums. Like I said, just google it. Well documented phenomenon
