The idea that vegans are wealthy and white is simply false. Around the world it tends to be the poorest people who do not eat meat, and in the US most vegans are low income and more likely to be racialized peoples.

- pingou 5y agoIsn't it also because vegans are younger on average, so poorer? And young people are more likely to be racialized. Would be interesting to have some stats where they control by age.
