If you’re a Git CLI user then I can highly recommend using SCM Breeze [1] which makes things a bit prettier and more convenient. It gives you a shorthand for various commands and improves default output formatting. For example, ‘git status’ becomes ‘gs’ and it also gives you a numbered list of files. You can then substitute these numbers in place of file names in subsequent commands. No more manually typing names / paths.
