Can someone tell me why they decided to have the new branch argument be `-c` in switch when it's `-b` in checkout?
- Someone 5y agoI would guess it is shorthand for —-create. A quick google confirms that (https://git-scm.com/docs/git-switch https://git-scm.com/docs/git-switch)
- foxpurple 5y agoBecause c for create makes perfect sense while b does not make sense on a command which only works on branches.
- chrisan 5y agomaybe they regret the original `-b` and thought it should be -c for create as well?
