Ehh. I’ve worked as an architect alongside solutions architects and also directly under them. It’s a tough job but this whole post seems to be saying it’s hard because communication (engagement) with upper management is bad? This is an org specific problem not a systemic one. (My own anecdotes while working as an architect within an enterprise: some upper management - director level - engaged very constructively with architects and principle engineers).
