Ask HN: Is DevOps handbook still the go to for modern DevOps?
It’s a bit of an older book now. I was curious if there’s a newer version or perhaps other recommendations for building and running a DevOps organization. Thanks!
- yuppie_scum 5y agoDevOps Handbook and Google SRE book. I’d say the majority of companies still have a ways to go to reach maturity according to either of these.
- ryanSrich 5y agoThat’s what I figured. Thanks!
- 100011_100001 5y agoI second this comment. The key here is that Google SRE doesn't say use X tool, instead it says you should be able to do X. How you architect that depends on what tools you want / risk etc.
