The Multimachine – an Open Source one-machine metal shop
- jbotz 5y agoSince someone else posted the Gingery books on building a machine-shop from scratch, I thought I'd post this slightly different approach... build a machine that can do the work of a lathe, drill-press and milling machine from recycled parts, with the main piece being an old combustion engine block to leverage the precision milling of the cylinder bores. - Phithagoras 5y agoIm curious, why did you decide to post the wikipedia page than the opensourcemachine link? I've noticed that wiki pages often dont do as well on HN as other websites
