I have never spent any of my time looking at FB terms and conditions. I have spent time setting up Firefox's "Facebook Container" so they can't track every site I visit.
I really don't recall if there were any other options than giving my age, they may have required it. I just wanted to block the ad.

That really couldn't be more obvious after the fact.
It is interesting that you didn't comment on what I was actually doing though, which was simply trying to block an add. Or what and why FB would even ask for my age in order for me to do that. Or even what the ad contained that prompted me to not want to see it again.
You focused entirely on the "rule" I broke.
