Hmmmm, I mean the point is that it's urgent. I think we should all be able to agree on that by now. The weather is to the point it's changing and weather is a far more localized phenomenon. At the very least we shouldn't be making matters worse by, for example, inventing stupid new ways of wasting precious energy. Conservationism needs to be the new norm, and we can take new technologies that help as the are available. However, much of the work will need to be on the policy side, as unfortunate as that may be to us technologists.
