Can global warming be though of as the planets way to fight what it thinks is an infection? Kind of like what fevers do for humans? Is that a big stretch?

- nathanaldensr 5y agoI don't know why this anthropomorphism of the earth is so popular. The earth is not sentient, nor is it alive. It doesn't have "an infection."
