Have you tried Go? I do my web apps in Go and all I need in my computer is the `go` binary installed. Nothing else. I use plain JS, CSS and HTML; which seems enough if combined with the Go templating system.
- rowanG077 5y agoIt's not the backend that's the problem. That's trivial. But browser are just so annoying. HTML + CSS looks slightly different on all browsers. Web API that don't work in all browsers. Basic stuff like file saving not being available. And don't get me started on CSS. I have never met anyone that truly understands CSS.
