It doesn't bother me. It's just sad.
- happytoexplain 5y agoLet me reword the parent's question to avoid semantic dancing: Why are you using those adjectives to describe something that seems to have virtually no impact on you (ignoring whatever name calling results from arguments about it, rather than from the fact of it)? Maybe you think the inclusion of the label is unnecessary, maybe silly. I could see that opinion pretty easily. But sad? Baffling? Absurd? Briefly: Where is this intense negativity coming from?
- andreskytt 5y agoFor me, there is nothing intense about the emotions. I feel sad, that real care for the well-being of people has been replaced by the ability to slap a CW onto things. I also feel sad about there apparently being people intensly hurt by reading a name on a screen. How did we get there? Maybe because these folks have been led down a path of sheltering for so long any discomfort is unbearable? This must be a really horrible existence. I feel sorry for them but at the same time do think CWs are counter-productive.
