Unaddressed pain point.
Having been thru this myself and am about to go thru it again as Head of Finance, digital docs should really be stored separately in a file server.
- SMAAART 5y ago> digital docs should really be stored separately in a file server. The problem then becomes "taxonomy" and how to structure the storing system. If all docs were searchable/indexable the problem would be mitigated, but in 2021 still a decent portions of docs that we receive are not searchable/indexable. How long before a start up addresses it?
- gidorah 5y agoI am totally aware of the problems that causes. It causes me no end of frustration. I like files stored a certain way, my colleagues another way. I've been tempted with projects like MayanEDMS, which would mitigate some issues, but someone has to tag docs. Our of interest, which ERP systems are you looking at?
