  Are you arguing there are perfect laws or solutions? Let's say that anything someone uploads fly's and there is no means to deal with copyright violation. In that case, the person who created the work gets screwed. For example, a song writer or singer. The very people we appreciate for their artistic work. Self driving and cars is a different case when you're talking about laws and the solutions being built around them. They are also a bit different when it comes to the financial side (and incentives) of it all.

      It gets to goals. For example, of the artist has a goal of making money to pay for food and a roof over their head that is reduced and their ability to create art is reduced. Artists and consumers have different needs and goals.
