One of the biggest benefits I've heard for mechanics is that without the overhead of a garage they can run their own operations much more profitably. Being able to recruit good mechanics who have more favorable economics lead to happier customers.

Yes, we have a full algorithm just for that, it filters out the bad mechanics and the slower ones and keeps the good ones and prioritise their offerings to our users
